maybe the ones i have are fake? maybe it would be best to send back.. fk it im getting started on sound deadening :p

Yours are not fake, But im pretty sure there was a version 1 & 2 between the 2ohm & 4ohm ones...

This is why I'm sure yours has a hollow section behind that cover

, can you remove the rubber cover sitting on the magnet?

Have you tried to remove it at all? Pry it back with a small flat head a tiny bit?

yeah, i was going through ebay looking at stuff and came across something like this> 6"-6.5" pair Vinyl Fibreglass Speaker Pods Spacers GREY | eBay

maybe i could get something similar pre made? and then stick them onto the door trim or that wouldnt work?

just looking at other options so it doesnt look ugly when i cut a hole in the door trim lols

I don't think you could make that work at all without looking ridiculously bad.
