hey guys need help to remove the Air Con Controls the little rod i cant get undone any help????????????
It is a clip. I believe that it is a clip, which pivots from the bottom over the top of the plastic connector. Try to pull the top of the plastic connector up from the back and it should release. Then the control rod is just an interference fit, so pull it straight out.
^^^ yep thats right. Sometimes the clip can be tough to get off, so a flat head screw driver might be needed to help unclip it.
You shouldnt need to go anywhere near the firewall, where are you getting your info from?? its simple, just undo the small white clip. if you have trouble finding it, look here http://forums.justcommodores.com.au...p-vr-vs-vq-vg-headunit-guide-56k-warning.html the 5&6th pictures from the top.
That clip often breaks..I just undo the phillips head screw that the arm pivots on and pull it out as a unit with the plastic arm and rod still attached
