I currently have both the Holden and Ellerys Manuals however i am struggling to find info on the theft deterrent system to install my alarm, would someone with the Haynes manual be kind enough to share the VY theft deterrent wiring.

The entire system is contained within and controlled by the BCM and keyheads and can't really be tapped into or disabled with circuitry. Any issue with the factory alarm/immobilizer?

Like I said before get the upgrade alarm saving you all the hassles.

Not sure if all the commodores wiring colours are they same, I got one here when I did a upgrade for a mate VT some years ago, I leave off the power and earth as you could figure that out.

Input - Lock switch signal - bcm plug c - brown and red wire +12v add 1k resistor
Input - unlock switch signal plug c - green/ yellow +12v add 1k resistor & brown/ orange
Input - boot release sensor plug c - red / green
Input - Actuator lock power signal plug c- black / yellow
Door - negative door signal plug c - white / dark green must use relay.
Input - Actuator unlock power signal plug c - blue / black
Indicator flasher plug b - blue wire
Indicator flasher plug b - dark blue wire
