Even with my soldering experience i managed to pull one of the traces off the bcm so Id give it to someone who knows what theyre doing.

Was referred onto an auto electrician, would you recon take it to one of them or a mechanic ?

I expect that either will want you to replace the complete BCM with keys especially during the current financial climate.
But if I had to choose Id ring around for an auto elec or buy slab for someone who can solder, Its not a hard job just a tad fiddly for me.

You take it to either and your pockets will be empty.

Take it to someone like Injectronics, or any other ECU repair business. There’s lots. They will have it fixed in a jiffy.
