    Hello all,

On a VX, if ANY HBD options were fitted (i.e. leather wheel, mag wheels, sunroof) would there be a HBD plate next to build plate?

In addition, I understand the VX S1 Equipe came with the side airbags as a factory option; does anyone know if there were any other options available?? I have the VX S1 brochure, but does not mention equipe for it was a limited edition.

Just to clarify, the 'Holden by Design' were options that dealers fitted to the car after they received it from the factory. These options are easily added/integrated at the dealer, such as body kits, wheels, sunroof, GPS, leather steering wheel/shifter etc. These will earn it a HBD plate on the radiator support. Essentially, every HBD car starts life as a standard car until the dealer takes delivery.

'Factory Options' are what is ordered for the car and added at the factory - options that aren't easily added and best fitted by the factory itself. Metallic paint, V8, manual, LSD diff, leather interior and airbags are all examples of what would be a factory option; not impossible to change but easier integrated when the car is being built.

Hence the airbags are an option on the Equipe. Not 100% sure what other factory options were available.
