the H4 globes incorporate both the headlight and highbeam lights but when you push the highbeam switch forward to keep em on only the 2 highbeam only lights stay on (H3 globes)and the headlight go off but when you pull the highbeam switch forward(momentary) it uses the highbeam lights in the H4 globes (normal headlights). is there any way you can keep both sets of highbeam lights on?

Also make sure the relays are working correctly. toot the horn and if it toots, pull the horn relay out and plug it into the headlight relay plugs and see if there maybe a faulty relay.

i'll give both a try. did it a while ago but it hasn't botthered me much cause i never really drive this car at night. just thought it was odd that it used different globes depending on which way uou move the highbeam switch
