    ok, hey ppl. im just wandering if anyone knows how many ecu's a 94 vr v6 auto commodore has??? so far ive found 3. one behind the pasanger kick panel. one behind the drivers side kick panel and one up under the dash. i know th epassanger side one is the PCM(pre coded memcal) ecu but what are the other two? anyone able to help? the driverside one is a rectangular cube about 5cm x 12cm x 3cm aprox. and the other one up under the dash is a black plastic box. help me apply the brakes to my spinnin head ppl lol IMG_0045.jpg

    PCM is Powertrain Control Module as opposed to ECU as it controls both the engine AND gearbox.
    Under the dash is a BCM (body control module) for things like security, wiper dwell, door locks, power windows, lights off etc depending on luxury level and the one in the drivers side has me stumped because the only other two I can think of is air bag (under the seat) and ABS which is in the engine bay.

    well could the driverside be the pcm and the passangerside is the general ecu?

    There is also an ABS control module located behind the drivers side kick panel..

    thanks brett. so the silver box behind driverside kick pannel is abs CM. wheres the PCM located then? or is that the ecu?
