Head unit lockout

Hey guys I recently bought a second hand stock head unit for my 2009 VE SV6 commodore and obviously it said “security lockout active - vehicle data mismatch” and I’ve been to Holden and apparently the VIN for the new stereo doesn’t have an unlock pin in there system. Anything else I could do?
