Alright, I found an Alpine ILX-702D and I got it. Trying to install but having a lot of difficulty. I bought the APP9ALPV as well as the FP9056GK. Am I missing something? The 16 pin adapter from the APP9ALPV does not seem to fit anywhere.

You aren't missing any wiring/items. The wiring you currently have plugged into the headunit is not needed. Just plug the wiring on the right in to the headunit, and then the remaining plug goes where the old holden stereo plugged in.

Will I run into trouble installing the reverse camera as there is no composite video output in the head unit? I have the HCE-1100 camera

No the camera you bought is designed to plug straight into that headunit. You can always do a test before installing the rear camera by just plugging in all the cables where the old stereo used to be and plugging the camera in.

Sorry for all the questions, I'm getting there....slowly. So, I've plugged the camera in and it works. But how do i wire it to get the camera to turn on when In reverse?

Yes the reverse wire is a signal wire which when it receives power, will tell the headunit to display the camera on screen. You will need to connect that reverse wire to the reverse light power at the back near the taillights. You can test which wire it is by seeing which one receives power when its in reverse.
