Well as it comes off the back of the headunit youll need to find the cable in the loom under the dash to connect into.
Connecting to the reverse lights up the back is also an option. I would assume there is something behind the dash/console though to splice into.
Would need a wiring diagram for that one.

You might find some helpful photos to follow as a guide here:

Rather than cutting into the main loom, I patched into the tail light loom. Pretty sure the wire colours are the same.

With camera wiring there is normally a second wire that goes along with it to link into the reverse there. The cable has to run to the back for the camera anyway so best add a wire if there isn’t one to do that job. I don’t recommend stuffing around finding a reverse wire in the main harness. Get it wrong and it’s a world of hurt. It’s not necessary anyway.

If you go further in the link I should have pics of the tail light loom too.

Ok, so nearly finished setting up but just having an issue with the head unit not turning off when the car is turned off and door opened. This was also an issue with the last head unit in there. Any ideas?

You may need to switch the power supply cables - switched and permanent. I had to do it on mine as they were the wrong way around for the head unit. The JVC unit I installed mentioned it as a potential problem in the installation instructions. It was an easy fix.

Yep, thanks got it fixed. Any reason why the clock isn't working and can't adjust it?

The clock requires a constant power supply. If the powerfeed is interrupted, it loses the time.

The accessories power does the regular functions of the headunit.

There will be two power wires. 12v constant, and 12v accessories.

The wiring should be clearly outlined in the install instructions.
You should also be using the required ISO adaptor harness to avoid cutting any main loom harness.

Nice work.
I guess the only question is. Are you happy with it and did it end up meeting all your requirements?
