1983 series2 vh sle 5litre
Just joined and its my first go at this so here goes.
I have a 1983 series 2 VH SLE 5 Litre which is going to have a new play motor fitted soon.
Its a 304 block from a VS SS but has been mildly worked to a 355 stroker and should be around the 440kw.
My question is
Can anyone recommend a set of headers/ extractors whichever is better that will actually fit into my engine bay [ it has power steering ] and possibly where i would get these around s/e Melbourne.
Thank you in advance if anyone replies.
Cheers

Pacemakers. 1 3/4 are the go with collectors opened up to 2 1/2

More importantly what steering rack & crossmember being used will give clearance/fitment issues.

Early crossmember with manual rack...early p/steer little to no clearance between sump & top part of rack where lines go in.

Later model vn-vs crossmember & p/steer rack

As mentioned, 1-3/4" headers if it's making that mich power.
Twin 2.5 exhaust is the smallest you would go. Maybe twin 3's
Are you sure 440kw? Because thats around 580hp which is very high end for Holden 355 power.
