Has anyone dealt with the transmission cooling lines hitting newly install headers? I've been unsuccessful in moving them.

I had the same issue with my Pacemaker Headers hitting the lines.

I got the people who installed the headers to fix it

Do you know what they did to fix it?

I wouldn't be surprised if this is a common problem and people just don't know.

Not too uncommon even on earlier models it seems. Just need to bend lines slightly to give an 8-10mm gap. Most of the time they're only just barely touching. Not always an issue with the extractors themselves, but with the install. That's the sort of thing that needs to be checked when they're fitted.

Probably a rubber mallet.

.

I suspect that's what it was.
Only reason i noticed it was when it was up on a hoist getting some quieter mufflers. There was a VF on a hoist next to it with Hurricane headers and they went nowhere near any hoses.

Mine are 1 7/8th's by the way

If they’re ceramic coated headers they sometimes leave polishing beads in them which rattle around making a metallic rattle. It took the geniuses at the local dealer three inspections to find them in my headers. I still have a few I kept as evidence in a plastic bag. Just saying..
