Hi all, I have a straight system back to the rear mufflers which sounds pretty good, o am getting hurricane headers and high flow cats installed Friday, will this make it louder and deeper.

High flow cats will be a lot louder than stock cats.

Thanks mate, more noise is what I wanted, cannot afford the tune yet, but it has been tuned before this. I think it will throw an engine lite until i can afford a tune after install.
It is unlikely to give it a deeper tone as the intermediate pipes affect tone more than the headers will. It will definately be louder and sound better though. Assuming you’re getting the tune done or touched up it will go better as well.

If the headers are a 4 into 1 style you will get a deeper throatier sound, the hi flow cats will help too mate

Is that a good thing mate??

In my books it is, throw in a cam and it an aural delight.

What you hear it more of the valve train, some like it some don't.
