Dear [INSERT NAME OF READER HERE], I was replacing my driver's side headlight bulb, and the clip, and now i can't for the life of me figure out which way it went so that it hinges out and clips back. At the moment I have it wedged so that it stays there. Does anyone have a picture or description of how it goes in. Cheers.
Don't understand why you would have removed the clip (spring retainer) to replace the globe - it's not necessary.
any luck? Iv had exactly the same problem.. was going off directions from another thread on here, loosened one screw on each side of the headlights and released the clip.. Now I cant get it back in for the life of me haha.
the spring retainer clip will only lock in if the bulb is seated fully in, at the correct orientation (the horizontal tang on the rear of the globe) go's to the top and of the right type
Bump My first post because I've got a problem... I was trying to get the orientation right of my headlight by taking it in and out to adjust it. Then the spring clip broke off. Any advice on how to fix this? Do I need to take the air filter out and see if I can fix the clip back in? Thanks.
