Yeah man super easy. High beams and parkers you just have to open the bonnet and its all accessible. Low Beams, you will have to go through the wheel arch. So a couple of torx screws and u can fold the wheel arch liner back slightly and you will be able to stick you hand up and reach the back of the low beams. Removing the front wheels altogether if the car is lowered will make like easier but I managed without removing them. Although my car is stock height with factory 20s

This link here mate, will help a lot -> https://forums.justcommodores.com.au/threads/the-ultimate-bulb-replacement-guide.242681/. But of course feel free to ask
Thanks again, will give this a go. Will probably just change the low beam, parkers and number plate lights to start with. Did you change the parkers and the number plates as well?

Sure did mate. I've done plates, parkers and interior with these http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/KONIK-T1...529608&hash=item19ea38f02f:g:Ev0AAOSwOMdZTbgG But they look sold out. I have also used these http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/KONIK-K0...067729&hash=item1a2bc29d8c:g:HuEAAOSwR29ZHn1o in another mates VF and just as good. Both ware canbus and error free. Little expensive compared to your "ebay specials" but I've had them on the car coming up to 4 months and no problems so far.

Thanks for all your help buddy!! I am pretty comfortable changing the lights (replaced all exterior and interior on my wife's accord euro a few years back), so just time to get hands dirty again :)

Thanks for the response guys. Ones who think 6000k is for the wank factor, I already have 6000k hid's in my wife's car (factory projector with washers and self levelling mechanism) and they are brighter than the 4300k they replaced.
6000k IS for wank factor. The light is WHITER or bluer, but won't give you the same penetration with all else being equal. Reflection of road signs and wet roads is horrific, which means that your eyes focus on the reflection of the light right in front of your vehicle, rather than what's further down the road (you don't have a choice in this, it happens naturally - your eyes adjust accordingly).

I get the feeling these people saying that they've never been flashed and that higher colour temperatures are better have never done much driving in the country. It quickly becomes a reality when you spend 2+ hours driving in the dark on country roads every day.

I've done the research. A quick google search will tell you everything you need to know about colour temperatures and the legalities of aftermarket lights.

Only comment I'll make is that the "throw" (distance of light emitted from front of car) is significantly less with LED's than it is with HID's.

In a projector headlight, I'd fit HID's over LED any day of the week.

I can attest to this, the throw on the LED is much shorter than the HID would be, but I am not sure on HID for high beams as they take time to warm up!

My 50w LED's produce a lot of instant light and the throw is enough to light up what needs lighting up.

In all honesty after putting the HID's in there is really no need for high beams anyway!

I have been tempted to go HID for fog lights and highbeams but that would be purely for wank factor, the HID's cut through fog like no-ones business anyway.

These are my new favorite LED's to retro fit to cars for the highbeams:
https://aerpro.com/h7led6k

Instant light and paired with 6000K HID's in the low beams (projector housing only please people) makes a great combination.
Have done a few cars with them now, I do recommend leaving the dust caps off as these still do generate a lot of heat and depending on your headlight housing - they may stick out a good inch or so.

I also recommend these for t10 parker lights:

I have that combination in my Mazda 6, very, very good vision no excessive glare and haven't been flashed by oncoming cars so I assume it is working well!

Yeah I've done about 15 different cars with that combo, everyone seems to be pretty damn happy with it.

I've even bit the bullet and ordered the MK2 projector headlights for my G6 so I can run the same setup.
