Heads Up Display Showing Speed Limits?

I heard today that the HUD gets the speed limit display from road signs.

Just passing on info that was given to me apparently similar to Volvos system. NFI if this is correct and I never said it was however the technology does exist.

I can confirm that the HUD in certain modes shows the speed limit but it is from the SatNav system not any "Traffic Sign Recognition"
Wish the new VF had the lights out mode like the VE did... with the HUD it would really be awesome

Agree. A feature I used often when driving country.

The speed limit warning has been available on VE Series II (IQ models with Sat Nav).

The speed limit is obtained via Sat Nav Data, and on VE Series II models, this is displayed on the IQ screen, as well as on the cluster (Just under the current speed).
The current speed limit will flash when you travel faster than the posted speed limit (This can be configured in the clusters settings menu).
