heater control dash lights

1998 vy aclaim
just fitter a new heater/aircon/demister control and dont have any dash light ..all others are working eg cluster/auto quad...have no power to them ..does any one know where they connect into harness .according to schematics they are hooked iin with the cluster ..any help would be great ,dont want to pull car apart to much to repair

they have their own wiring looms 2 get their power so make sure u got power there using a test light wen u turn ur hea dlights on and if u do, chance r ur globes r prolly blown then.

u r talkin about vt/vx standard heater control unit yes? not vy?

I think there may be something in these units that causes them to blow globes. Its common to see cars with either all globes working or next to no globes working. Where did you buy the new control unit from?? It's also quite possible that whoever sold it to you raided all the working globes out of it.

tested the globes before i fitted the control unit with a separate bench power supply...tested for power and earth to lights and no power ..so must be something in the harness ...all other dash lights work okay
