heater cores VS

Does anyone know if the heater core in the vs is made of copper or aluminium? I know that it is a major job to change but has anyone tackled this job? I would be interested to know how hard it is to do.

Copper from memory....major pain in the #rse to do correctly. A/c re-gas about 12 hours (if you know what you are doing!) and a new heater core.

That should be the part number from Covs and Repco.

Seriously, centre console, steering column, dashboard, wipers, heater box......BIG BIG BIG job!!!!

Do not expect any change out of about $700 all up minimum.
