Heater hose behind alternator on VN v6

My first problem on our prized VN V6.
Smelled a pungent hot coolant while driving(in Melbourne it's 37 deg). ...after a long look I noticed there is a rubber pipe behind the alternator on these cars (series one) that carries coolant. It's split and spurting coolant. Easy to get to and replace . However what is it called...is there a special name for it so the guy on the other end of the counter knows what I'm talking about....can't put a picture on this thread atm

I think they call it the adapter S pipe. Check the adapter as they tend to crack unless a brass one has been fitted
