It'll only drip for soo long, It'll be a deteriated breather line on the filler neck.

Maybe you can climb under the car and try to see where its coming from.It might be coming from the fuel pump/sender assembly gasket, its where the fuel lines connect to the tank, its a circle with small bolts around it...or it might be a split or rust hole, you wont really know until you find it.Id replace the tank if its a hole. You can buy petrol tank emergency sealer that works well and lasts for ages, but Id just replace it,If its the pump assembly gasket, first up syphon the tank out, then just undo the small screws around the pump assembly and change the old gasket for a new one..

If the tank is only filled to the first cut off on the fuel nozzle like its supposed to be,then it shouldnt leak out any of the tanks breather hoses. If its been overfilled it might though...If you filled it up past the first cut off, then thats probably caused the problem..
