Help/advise needed?

Need advice with vr 90ish commodore engine, Replaced air intake with 4inch re routed pod fliter, No exhaust mods, Dose this cause the engine to idle at 2000rpm even when hot, needs tuning? Throttle cable seems fine, and throttle body appers to be working fine,
I work on trucks and excavators, this is my first commodore, love making things ill get to the exhaust one day, but dont have anyome who knows amythimg about it and i really hate mechanics any help or just anything would be lovely as im completely stumped?

Did you adjust the throttle cable at all? The cable needs to have a deflection of 10-15mm without moving the throttle linkage from the idle stop.
