was wondering if anyone had any ideas why the a/c pump on my VX II v6 wont activate, when i push the button the light comes on and the thermo fans kick in, but the pump doesnt activate. It started 6 months ago as an intermittent problem, just wouldnt kick in every now and again so i got the system regassed and new filters put in, and it worked fine for about 4 weeks and then went intermittent again and till the point where it wont activate at all.
Would this be a dead ac pump, or could it be something small that can be easily repaired??
any help will be great thanks.

    do a search :(
could be a number of things ,did the ac place that re gassed your system put a dye in it ? if so go buy a cheap ultra violet light and check for flouro dye spray in your engine bay

could be a number of things
    compressor
    tx valve
    condensor
    leaky hose
    leaky "O" rings
    evap unit

welcome to the world of vt commodore air con repairs ........hopefully yours is simple .............next weekend i get to remove my complete dash to replace the evap unit (also doing heater core as well )
    good luck
