help...biggest rotors for vt\vy calipers??

    hey ppl

    im tryin to find out wats the biggest rotor i can use with the vt\vy calipers. standard vt is 296mm or sumthin close. can i run clubsport ones or anythin bigger say 330mm?

    No. There is bugger all clearance between the caliper and the rotor, so by going bigger, the calipers will not bolt back to the mounts. You will need different calipers to suit the bigger rotors. Even if you could, it would make absolutely no difference because your pad contact surface will remain the same. The concept of going to a bigger rotor is to increase your pad to rotor contact surface giving you better braking performance.

    ok. i know it wouldnt actually improve performance i like the look of a bigger rotor lol. fair enough with the mounting i wasnt sure thanks for the help.
