HELP, CATALYTIC CONVERTER BOLT STUCK!

hey guys, Today I bought a new catback and decided to put it on, I got everything off except one of the weird spring bolts that holds the center muffler to the cat, Even a big impact gun wouldn’t work.
Id rather not cut it off because that means ******* around with hardware stores trying to find one similar to it
What can I do?

You can try soaking it with WD40 or other penetrating lubricant. Sometimes it works better when it's stinking hot and then spraying liberally as the heat draws the lubricant in.

Failing that, cut it off and replace it.

Easiest method would be to cut the bolt and replace with 2 non spring bolts. I recently repaired my exhaust and had the complete system out and in a dozen times and mine has never had the spring bolts fitted.

Run the car for a bit get everything hot and try again, be sure to wear some decent gloves tho for obvious reasons
