Hey, I've checked out most of the "Won't Start" threads and have found no answer so far.
-
I'm hoping for some advice before i go buying parts and spending a fortune.
-
The case:

My Clutch Pressure plate fingers wore out (which meant i couldn't engage my clutch) so i pulled into the garage in 1st gear (partially engaged due to the clutch) and as i was pulling in my revs dropped to say 500rpm and i just managed to pull into the garage an turn her off. I figured the rev drop was just do to the clutch being partially engaged, but after i removed the gearbox and replaced the clutch with a clutch kit, i went to start the car and she wouldn't start.

It cranks over fine and occasionally fires, but will not start.

Tips and tricks already tried:

- My battery went flat because i had the radio (& 2 Amplifiers) for nearly 4 days straight, and when i charged the battery with a good quality digital battery charger, i didn't disconnect the Neg terminal (hoping i haven't wrecked my ECU)
- CAS just replaced, still no help
- 500Km old NGK Plugs, which are giving a good spark
- definately getting fuel, cause plugs are wet
- No error codes (just 12 [no faults])

I don't get it... I've got FUEL, AIR and good SPARK but no go :(

Yeah I've had a look at the fuses. But it can't hurt to go over them all again, i'll do that tonight.

Any other suggestions? Anyone?

Only thing I can add is to make sure your battery is absolutely fully charged and in good condition before you try starting....once the volts drop, the ECU does funny things.
And you say you have good spark - how do you know?

I was testing the simple things again, fuel, etc...
when i noticed that although my leads would give a nice good big blue spark, almost all of the actual plugs weren't giving a very good spark (when rested against the block while the engine is being cranked over * Hako*) due to being fouled

So Problem is SOLVED!!!!

I installed a new set of NGK Spark plugs and she fired up straight away!!! don't i feel annoyed, it's always the simple things :)

O the joy of 9 pounds of boostage under your feet again
