I'm in the middle of draining my fuel from the tank and need some help on it.
This is what Ive done so far,

    Disconnected fuel filter,

Put some hose from the outlet of fuel pump straight into a drum.

Cranking the engine doesn't make it flow bugger all?

    What should I do?

Run a wire from the feed on the fuel relay directly to the positive terminal on the battery.

Look at the colour of the wire that goes to the pump, it should be the same as the one at the relay. Won't hurt by trying them all, just don't do the black one.

some dont have drain plugs so all i normally do is loosen the bolts for the pump and let it drain that way.

No Drain plug for the VR, VS. Well I defenitly know the VR's don't have one and can't see why the VS's would have one either. The strainer would be the lowest point for it to drain the most fuel. Sure, you could drain fuel by removing the bolts for pump but way more convenient and no fuel will be left in the tank if you do it the way Not_An_Abba_Fan Suggested.
Cheers Again Mate Worked A Treat!

You can block off the hoses to the charcoal canister and then apply air pressure to the fuel filler - minimal air pressure only and not enough to distort the tank. Fuel can will then flow out of the inlet and return hoses. Have seen this done when the pump is dead but dunno if I'd recommend it. Watch out for sparks!
