Hi guys, Well, I've started getting right into an install in my VT II Berlina, and had the whole dash apart today for various reasons. It was a success, and it's all safely back together now, thanks to help found on this forum earlier Current question is this - how do I remove the rear seats backrest? I'm trying to put two nuts onto the metal behind the seats to secure a bracket in the boot, but cannot work it out! Much searching, googling and general reading later, and I'm no closer to getting it Any help GREATLY appreciated!! Cheers! Update: read this but was unable to do the same (being aware the instructions were for an older model). Still searching.... thanks guys.
remove rear seats okay this is how to remove the rear seats in my vx ss but i think it would be the same for a vt. on the front of the lower half of the seat (where it meets the carpet) there should be two black tags hanging out pull these tags and the seat should unclip at the same time pull the seat up and slide it out towards the front of the car you will then find one bolt at the bottom of each side peice of the backrest remove these bolts and slide the portion of the seat up to remove if you have the center peice down at this stage it will be easy thats as far as i have gone in dissassembly so i hope this helps
Way to go!! Thanks heaps for that, eh I had noticed those tabs ages ago when first inspecting the vehicle before I test drove it or anything, and then forgot about them. Cheers mate, the seat is apart
