VT2 Acclaim wagon. Was driving home the other night with cruise control on. All of a sudden, car losses drive in all gears, engine revs fine but no drive in any gear. Thought it was trans so replaced but still have same problem.

So next thought is torque converter. Anyone else had this problem or able to shed any light on it?

Thanks

Perhaps it's an electrical problem. Considering you have changed the transmission and torque converter I don't see what else it could be. I don't know much about transmissions but I'm sure they are controlled electronically these days. Maybe it's not getting signals from the PCM

This might sound dumb but have you checked the fluid level in the trans ?
