I don't know for sure, but those are the "standard" ratios for the box, so it seems quite likely the VR/VS would be the same.

Oh, i assumed they were different boxes, even tho they both have the name T56

yeah i can see with a turbo its best not to go to crazy with the diff gears, i think 3.45s with a turbo 5.0L will be crazy , coz it going to have **** loads of torque to pull it through the taller ratio

The ratios are different and the boxes are different. The older boxes are suppose to be stronger. thats what mal wood told me anyway. Ill find the ratios out later this arv and post em up.

You need 3.08s or 3.45s at the most with a turbo to put load on the engine so it will spool up, but really 3.08s will be the go for a turbo 304

Yeah I know with a mates turbo 355 VK that he went 3.7s immeadiately but found that 3.08s ideally suited the turbo setup.

If it was aspirated then the 3.08s would have to go (if u ran a 4-sp auto). Just about to swap my 3.08s for 3.7s as 1800rpm at 100kmh vs 2150rpm at same speed with 3.7s......

Better suited to cammed stroker.:yeah:

i run 3.7s in my vs with a T5 and 17s, tach sits on about 2500 at 100kays. gets 400 kays out of half a tank on the highway if i dont get up it. they work great on long trips
