Help me out....Recommended psi for tyre

2011 ve commodore
Hello..just brought a 2011 ve commodore ute the thunder edition it has the grey19inch rims. I tested the psi and had 25 i read that it should have 36 is this true....this is the tyre info...245/40zr19 98y xl...cheers

Your driver door has a tyre placard that has the recommended psi for your tyres... should be 36 psi judging by my quick Google.

Yes, 36PSI is what it should be near. 25 is too low.

I use 40-42 psi on my 19inchers

You will find your happy medium.

36-42 should be fine.
Higher it is, firmer it is a less chance you will have children

Its also on the tyre sidewall.

the tyre sidewall pressure number is max pressure, not recommended, as 50psi will rattle your teeth, lol

36 is good, throw 40 in the rears if you've got a load.

The manufacturer doesn't care about tyre life, so I'd ignore the placard.....Any where from 34 to 40 PSI, depending on driving style, load carried and roads driven on.
