I just went to start my car (VY ecotec) and it fired once and then died so i figured i must have not kept the key turned for quite long enough now it will crank but wont start and after a few seconds of cranking comes up with the check engine symbol... the dash says the battery has 12.2v and im at a loss as to what it could be cause the car was running fine this morning im guessing it could be the immobiliser but how can i be sure HELP!!! (if need be ill get nrma over here but i was hoping to get it sorted myself as i have all this afternoon and tonight to get it sorted)
yeah tried disconnecting the battery didnt do it... found out its the plug that connects into the bottom of the coil pack so it starts now just hopefully keeps working that way
