Hi can anyone tell me what a 1982 VH SLX would be worth it's in excellent condition automatic gearbox no rust has the blue interior motor is good ect I am wanting to buy it I think he might want to much for it any help appreciated

35 year old car so not much regardless of condition.
Is it fully roadworthy? Does it come with RWC.
I would say $1000.00 but if you really love it, and it really is very good with RWC and lots of rego......$2000.00 maximum.

2-4k with no work required for rwc. Don't expect it to come with a rwc for that price though.

I just looked on eBay couple just sold one for $5500 other for $5000 both were 6 cylinder and had rust, the one Iam looking at he wants $3000

It's worth what you're prepared to pay. If you think $3K is fair, then it is. A car is ALWAYS worth more to a seller than a buyer. I think $3K is reasonable if it is in really good condition and has an RWC. But as said, it's 35 years old. Does that make it worth more? I don't think so.

Might be a pointless comment I'm making, but I have a VC CommodoreSL.....Has a red 6cyl motor, Toyota 5 speed, clean interior and a few little modifications...Has no rust....Agreed value from an insurance company was $4,500....That after I saw some similar VC's for sale around the $4,000 mark..
