Something must be discharging it. Do you have any aftermarket electrical gear in it? Eg head unit, amps ,gauges?

In my old commodore I had a problem with the little light near the ignition barrel. It just stayed on and ended up draining my battery over nite. Just something else to check in case you haven't found the reason yet

I have always worked on inbetween 13.8v - 14.2v as being an acceptable charge rate. You are smack in the middle.

is new battery actually new and good quality
if no lights are remaining on , glove box, boot
then try disconnecting positive wire from alternator before going to bed and see if fault remains, may be shorted diode in alternator

If the alternator is working correctly, put the multimeter on amps and connect it in series and see what the drain is
(making sure ignition is off and doors are closed). that will then tell you if you have something draining the battery or not.

After using the car the other night i noticed the power window lights not going off after the ignition was turned off, could this be enough to drain the battery? Also the car runs fine with the lights on hi-beam and the heater and radio on with battery terminals off.

never, never take battery leads off with engine running
you run the risk of destroying your ECU and BCM and alternator

Off should be like 12.4V there about's, While multimeter is still on batt, Start the car it should go up too around 14V, Wich it seem's that area is all OK.

Best thing too do would be to as above.

Take batt + lead off, Trun you're multimeter to Amp's and install in series between battrey + pole and the + lead, This will give you a amp reading wich tell's you what the idle drain on the battrey is, Be sure too do this while everything is off inc interior light, This way you will get a corect reading.

    I believe anything over 25 - 50 milliamp's (25-50mA) is an issue. But varies.

Once you have done the multimeter in series, Get you're standby Amp rate figgure. Ie: 4 - 5A < well above normal

Although it's a timely task eliminating the electrical issue, I'd just start with beggining to pull individual fuses untill you see the multimeter amp go down to a normal amount, Then you know what is the sorce of the issue.
Be sure to keep the multimeter on the battrey while you pull the fuse's, So you can tell what's going on.

Once you turn the car off, The power window light's don't normally go off for like a minute one door has beeon opend, If you don't open the door it stayes of for like an hour, So don't be too worried about the PW light not turning off right away.

Check your power window switch in the console. Long shot but this drained the battery overnight on a VT I had (so I am told). Also, check the boot light.

what cold crack rating is your battery? a good battery like a century heavy duty is around 560cca and a ultra high is around 640cca, **** batterys like SCA and bestbuy you get from supercheap auto are way less around 400cca which might not be enuff to kick engine over if you run everything all at once, like lights and heaters radio etc.
