Hi All Looking for some piston help regarding a v6 ecotec motor. i recently purchased a fully rebuilt motor that was setup to run a V1 STrim blower we pulled the heads of only to find what looks like standard pistons. the only number we can get of these pistons are "Z32" does anyone know what the deal is with these pistons? what are they made of? what sought of boost will they take? i have no idea, i cant understand why someone would rebuild a motor,fit a blower and go to the trouble of having a full aftermarket haltec ecu and extremely large injectors to settle for stock pistons? please help, any advice will be greatly appreciated
who did you purchase the engine from, private or some sort of outfit, they should know the make/specs of the pistons and what they are good for etc
