true that, though at 15 i would have at least got their attention if id just poured all my hard earned money into a car, or talked to an adult. what about the licensed (or unlicensed in his case) mate? surely if he thinks hes mature enough to drive a car and "cruise for chicks" he is mature enough to come out from behind the curtains and find out whats happening. it sounds so suss to me. i get this image of 2 kids thinking they are big men, then hiding behind a locked door while their joyride gets towed away. lol. it would make a great budget aussie comedy.

when i was 15 i had a UC torana as a 1st car. Had it decked out with subs and all that crap. But the system all came from B'day gifts. Ended up scrapping it and buying a VN intime for my L's. If i was caught driving it around under age i still wouldn't be able to sit here typing as id have to stand up coz my ass would have been kicked soooo hard
If he bought the car why hadnt he transferred the rego into his name.Beside the fact id check any car i bought if the car was stolen or had money owing on it you would check that on an older/hotted up car which is more likely to be stolen. Who leaves their wallet in their glove compartment...mine never leaves my pocket except to buy something or my pants need washing. Well a lesson well learnt i wonder wat it set him back(that may also be a givaway if it was stolen)
i went to his house and he has/had? it on allclassifieds.com.au and i have been talking to the coppers and it is in the impound lot and i have to go and told to some guy and get it back (they didn't say it iwas/wasn't stolen yet so i guess it isn't)
