Hey all Just Wondring if anyone has had this Problem B4 i drive my car about 11 k's and the she dies on Me The check engine light comes on and it want start for about 45mins or longer The Radiator is cool to touch but my engine is red Hot ? i have replaced the Thermo stat and done all the basic checkes Like oil water trans ect . tryed it again today and i just let her idol for about 10 mins my fans never come on once the temp on the dash was about halfway radiator was warm engine was Red Hot again and it went back into shutdown mode ? Could it be a Water pump or The Radiator ? any help would be great as i need the car goin by Monday !!!!:bang:
Fans should have come on before the half way mark on the guage. Does the fan come on with the A/C? If not could be a faulty relay or blown fuse.
hey Gday i took the Radiator out today and Flushed the System out No Junk come out was Good Colour Green! Then i replaced all the belts put in a new temp sensor put it all back together let it idol for about 15mins or so The temp hit 95 then the fans come on cooled it straight down 86 So Maybe With some luck it might be all good now !
