alright everyone well today i noticed this not to good oil leak comming from around the area where my oil filter is

the black peice of the left in the 2nd photo is my oil filter, does anyone know where exactly the leak cud be comming from around there? or had this problem b4, it needs to fixed quick too oil is going down rather quickly

would i be able to fix it myself? or need a mechanic to check it out?

any help much appreciated

Give it a degrease around the wet area or a wipe down,than start the engine and have a look.Might be the oil pressure switch or the oil filter.

I'd be guessing at the oil pressure switch thingo.

that oil looks red to me is the power steering pump above that coz oil on the filter looks old ill be checking power steer pump first

Like Leigh said does look a bit red,have you checked the power steer fluid?

Looks like power steering fluid.I wouldn't be driving it like that.

That really big pulley is the power steering pump. You will probably find that one of the hoses going to that is leaking, most likely the return hose. That is the one with the hose clamp on it. Try tightening it first and see how you go.
