VE COMMODORE SSV SERIES II
Hi all!
Little bit stuck trying to locate the fuel pump relay on my 2010/11 SSV VE Commodore E85 Series II sedan (L77 - V8)
I’m trying to depressurise the fuel line to remove the fuel rail so I can remove and replace a faulty fuel injector.
The car has been running perfectly for years before the faulty injectors but its not where the manual or fuse box says?? I’m assuming it’s located elsewhere.....?
I’ve seen an old thread on here and have been looking everywhere for answers but too no conclusion.
Any new help would be appreciated.
I did see you can release pressure using the Schrader valve but is that a recommend option or not?

To depressurise fuel rail, Disconnect battery, on the engines left side, your right, take cover thing off the end of rail and depress the needle. Use cloth or something under it to catch the fuel.

I would imagine there is a fuel pump fuse in the boot, where the battery is. I know there is my car so assume it would be the same .

But as you've confirmed, releasing the pressure using the schrader valve is perfectly ok

is there a fuse for fuel pump/delivery in addition to fuel pump relay? new fuel pump was working when battery connected now not making a noise with new relay???

Wrong relay?
it has been hotwird from 30 to 87 pin and was running - now no fuel pump sound and winds over - thought there might be a secondary fuse in engine bay or near pump (pump is new)

Or the fuel pump module under the battery may have an issue

the fuse is in the boot above the battery but the relay is in the passenger side kick panel i think
