have just replaced my head unit in my vy exec and now the dash comes up "service warning" "check engine" but "system check ok" comes up first, are this related to the head unit sway? i installed a jvc usb KD - G725
I dont see how it would be related, but since you probably arent a qualified installer, i wouldnt put it past you. Get to a dealer and get it checked out quicksmart, or undo what you have done and see what happens.
yeah mate what you need to do is unplug your new h/u and plug in your standard one with the ign off, then turn the ign on so the car can "find" the standard h/u then go through your car settings and turn all the settings connecting to your h/u to display off (ie: radio display) so therefore when you turn the ign on, the display as such isnt "looking" for it, then you can install your new h/u and you shouldnt have any worries let me know how you go
