Hey guys,
I have the back panel of my SS Fifty Ute needing replacement. I cant find any replacements for the special SS Fifty badge. I like the badge so I dont want just an SS one.

Does nayone know if you can remove it and re-use it. The only panel beater I asked said no, but I'm not sure if it was him being lazy or not. If it can be done, I'd give it a crack myself then give to the panel beater to put back on.

cheers

You could try warming it with a hair dryer, then with very fine nylon fishing line work that back and forth between the badge and the body to cut it off.

as gossie said just warm it up and cut it off with fishing line, then clean up the backs side and just buy some badge adhesive to stick it back on later

Once you have removed the badge put it in some prepsol to soak for an hour or so. This will make it much easier to clean the tape off.
Also only use 3m double sided tape the cheap stuff wont hold it as well.
