help ve thermostat and waterpump change

Hey guys I changed a water pump and a thermostat in my ve omega 2010 put all back together then it started sucking in air from somewhere from the engine and putting up stable bility fault up and a miss fire any one ever had this happen before changed gaskets too and no change

Go back through and check again. Spark plugs seated correctly. Gapped correctly. Coils fitted up correctly. Reseat the plenum gaskets. Make sure you use new ones. Torque down the intake correctly. Check vacuum & PCV hoses are not hard and brittle, on firm and not leaking.

You can get misfires from many other things. Even accessories bolted to the motor with worn bearings can give misfires.

Stability Control is normally disabled when the battery is not great. Low voltage will mean the computer shuts down power hungry features to keep the engine running.

Amazing effort to change the thermostat on one of these without removing the gearbox.

The MAF connection if not plugged in correctly can activate the SCS MIL.
Get is scanned and see what the DTC is, that will be a starting point.
