Hi all!
I am very curious as to understanding the ML4 Auto trans which is in the NA VL sedans and wagons.
I have a VL Exec Wagon i am working on as a project car.
Just want to understand the gearbox a bit better... i have a service manual and it has very limited and terrible information on the Auto. Ive been googling like crazy and cant find any information on this transmission.
If anyone could point me in the right direction would be awesome! Just want to understand what the solenoids do... what that long wire from the box coming out of valvebody and goes up just behind drivers window to a plug means... etc.
