either a lead or a plug.. had this problem quite a few times with the old mans VS V6 where it would miss under load
turns out one of the plugs was crook (brand new too)

I run Bosch leads on my VS Berlina, I think they are 8mm. You need to make sure that you get a set with the heatshields on them to protect the lead from the exhaust manifold.

I just run the standard NGK plugs, had Iridium ones in there and found it didn't make any difference.

Part number for the NGK plugs is: BPR6EFS-15 1.5mm Gap
Part number for the leads (complete set) is: B6025i (with heatshields).

    Hope this helps!

Maybe check the DFI module and Coil packs, check the resistance on the coil packs, both for primary and secondary figures...

    Tobsta,

    is it still missing?
i would have said plugs or leads too but you've try those, could be something as simple as a clogged fuel filter too, happens when you boot it is when it needs fuel most.
i had this prob in vr calais too, and yes, i tried top guns leads and bosch super 4's too and they are not as good as genuine leads and ngk plugs.
at least the fuel filter is cheap to eliminate as a possible problem.
