Help - VY replace Fog Headlamp Switch control unit?

Hi everyone. I am new to the forums.

I cannot find a way to remove and install another one of those headlight/lamp switches.

I am referring to this:

How much of the front panel would I have to remove or is there an easier way from underneath to get to this unit?

Any videos out there? I couldn't find any on Google.

Alternatively I can pull out the plastic knob cover, but unfortunately when mine crumbled on me recently, it's left a lot of the clear plastic sheeve on the existing unit. I've tried to remove as much as I can but to no avail for the bits inside the sheaf.

Remove the cluster surround (two phillips head screws at the top) and squeeze the two metal clips against the body of the switch while pulling it out.
