help wanted amp issue

I have a kenwood KAC - 8104D amp, powering a soundstream x pro sub... tonight the amp and sub both cut out, the blue light is on on the amp, but the red light is not.. there is power going into the amp, and remote.. earth is good, what else could it be ? is the amp fried ?

Hey man I had the same problem the other week. I wired whole system up and nothing was playing, checked remote, earth etc...only to find that the fuse had blown on the initial connection to the battery haha. Worked a treat after that. Check it and depending on what you installed might need to increase to a bigger fuse than what is directed under the dash.
