Help with Ecotec parts

    Hi guys

    How on earth do i take the plenum off the ecotec? ive taken the top plate off and undone the bolts in there but theres bolts under the plenum?? How do i get to them i need help as im painting/chroming many engine components.

    After the bolts IN the plenum have been taken out, simply pull up hard on the plenum. All thats holding it on now are the injectors.

    Be carefull when pulling it up though, otherwise you may damage the bottom plastic nozzle on an injector.

    Thanks IBLOWN much appreciated. I think i might disconnect the injectors then.

    Btw awesome ride im actually in the process of building a bigger motor.

    No probs!

    Yes disconnect the injector electrical connections, but like i said be careful with the bottom ends of the injectors that plug into the valley cover. They are easy to crack or chip the plastic nozzles.
