help with front bar?! D:

hey guys iv just gone out and bought myself a vs ss front bar for my 93 VR ute and was wondering how the hell i get my original bar off the ute?! the nuts on the bolts on the back of the bar closest to the front wheel are impossible to get into!

what is it thats getting in the way? the wheel? take the wheel off?

The bolts can be hard to get to, but a socket and ratchet usually fit. The front one is the hardest to get as the brace is in the way.

I am talking about where the bracket comes back onto the chassis rail. There shouldn't be any nuts and bolts at the front wheel.

nah its the plastic guard piece infront of the wheel and it seems like if i take that then i need to take the wheel to, im hoping there is an easier way.

iv got that one off no worries at all its the nut closest to the cab of the ute, i just cant get to it its to tight to get in with the socket.

You can just remove the cover on those, two screws in the bit directly in front of the wheel, three screws on top, two I think in the mouth and three underneath. Then the plastic section comes off without removing the steel bracing.
