Hi fella's can I have some help with possibly identifying the purpose of these two small buttons, they are on a vc sle 308 that I brought in the last week. When pressed they do not appear to do anything. any suggestions or theory would be welcomed.

Also can some one please tell me what the hole in the other picture is for, its just next to the air con switch.

Thanks Chanoo

The two buttons maybe be circuit breakers.
And the small hole, maybe be for a choke cable.
Just a guess....

I concur with Nut Krackers suggestion, the buttons look like circuit breakers and the hole would likely be for a manual choke cable.
The circuit breakers may have been installed as part of a battery charging setup. Maybe a previous owner towed big van with a dual battery and a 240v charging system.??

Try and trace the wires and see where they end up.
Certainly not factory, as I don't recall seeing them when I was at the Dandenong Plant.

watdahellhaveyougotthere?!?

They certainly appear to be heavy duty circuit breakers.

Struggling to read the switch ratings on the side of them. Could you get a close up or tell what is stamped on the side?

It looks like it's rated for 250V and 28V so not sure what thats all about.
