Ok well, I got my first car a little while ago, its a '94 VR Executive, after doing some very minor additions, wheels and my audio system, im wondering where do i go next?

So my question to the forum is, where do you recommend i start on getting this commodore purring like a little beast?

I was thinking getting the exhuast done first, something like a redback 2.5 system. Suggestions please.

Go CAI and exhaust with extractors (or headers) should give ya sum fun! Personally I went HM extractors with stainless (not sure of the brand) 2.5 system~

Yeah thats pretty much what i thought.

    Hi-flow Cat Converter
HM Headers (ive seen a few deals floating about on them)
And the 2.5 Redback exhuast system was something i first looked at.

When choosing the muffler/muffler tip, is there any difference between straight through, bent etc performance wise?

theres no performance differences in tips, just purely for viewing pleasure..

dont worry about a hi-flow cat, the stock ones are fine up to 200rwkw so unless ur building a monster engine, u can save ur cash there and add it to something else
2.5' zhorst with headers/extractors get it sounding good, and CAI for some nice cold air.

Thanks everyone for the advice, pretty much everyone that has replied has given me confirmation that a 2.5" cat back system, CAI and some good headers will give me a good start on the car.

    Thanks again.
