Hey guys!
I bought a VR Exec recently and have been putting in all the good parts from my berlina (write off) and am getting my sound system put in soon :)

I was wondering what minor mods could I do to, I guess, make it run a little faster and sound a little more... ballsy?
I don't want to go crazy but I want this to be my main car for a while!

Cheers guys!

CAI from Holden $80 odd

Go find a second hand set of extractors, get em checked out and then fit them yourself that should be under $200

Get a 2 1/2 inch cat back, second hand will be fairly cheap as well.

Having said that, buy brand new and you know its A1 otherwise buy off of someone you trust.

XD Cheers guys!
I've read the old posts and now understand how these things work!
Wicked, now I need to start working on it. Last thing I'm going to do it spray it black with a green trim around it :)

It's not a restrictor. The bellmouth removal is a placebo effect, you think it makes a difference so in your mind it does. All it will do is probably make it idle a bit rougher.

Bit like an exhaust, it's louder, therefore it must be faster.

Probably the most cost efficient performance improvement is a memcal from greenfoam. Mate it with a genuine Holden CAI, a set of extractors and a 2 1/2" exhaust and you have yourself a decent improvement.

I can do you a cheap set of extractors and an exhaust for around $550 supplied. Depending on where you are will determine if there will be any shipping charge.
